The quality workers at Formula One have now brought out a luxury item for all those who can afford. The most expensive mouse pad (or mouse mats as they are called in the UK) has been created by the specialist composite technicians who make Formula One monocoques exclusively for Formula One.

The mouse pads are currently for sale to the general public and are being hand-made in England. A must have for Formula One junkies, it is wrapped in F1 tissue paper and presented in a luxury matte black box subtly highlighted with the Formula One logo. It is available from the official Formula One store.
Construction and Design
It consists of a solid polished carbon fiber with inlaid leather mouse area, which is embossed proudly with the Formula One logo. The inlaid leather area allows the mouse to move smoothly along its surface. The bottom of the mouse pad is made of suede which allows it to grip the surface on which it sits better. The state of the art automotive 3D modeling software has been used for its design.
This Formula One emblazoned mouse-pad is suitable for both optical and ball-operated mouse. Yet it deserves a special mouse that would complement its own uniqueness. Many expensive computer mice are readily available in the market. Some really expensive ones are the “Scattered Diamond” and the “Diamond Flower”.
Cost

This unique mouse pad costs £260.00, about $500 USD. Definitely a luxury item, this product will turn heads of both the racing fanatics and computer geeks worldwide.
